hello just my 2 cent worth of rejecting the gal in 51, who are mostly from Vietnam. U just need to ignore her and talk to your friend. Do not look at her at all after that, and when you say no, your face must say no also,give a very smelly face or firm face and they will back off. I have a few friend who like to say no with a smiling face to the gals, this may give the wrong impression so no in word and action also.

most gals in joo chiat make money from ST and tips of S$20 for sitting and chatting. everything else doesn't matter. buying drink is irrelevant as they rather you give them the money you pay for the drink.

Most gals who came to work here are ready to go for ST or overnight. However there are some gals who already have local "boyfriends" or some very regular clients who are there almost everyday. If you get these gals they will never go out or up with you, so suggest to avoid them. These gals with boyfriends are generally more well dress, have better make up skills ( due to better cosmetics from boyfriend) and usually wear jean ( not skirt). You will also see them have more jewellry.Their body language will also be a little different from the rest, ie they play or SMS with their phone very often. They don't communication or talk to you alot ( doesn't show any interest) and just a little bit of hug hug touch touch. you can tell they are just there to kill time and get make some money only. After they finish work they will go home to their boyfriend will bring them out. If you want to be more assured, you can have dinner at the coffee shop opposite 51 or blue star, you will see some of them with their boyfriend there or some gal will just sit around drink water, and just go inside to pub for the air-con and some tips.
