Just a cautionary note on Madurani Massage. The boss is a Singaporean malay. Botak guy. I used to be a regular there but progressively the "Hi's & Bye's" slowly turned into attempts to solicit a loan.
Some crappy story about his funds being stuck & he needed some liquidity to stay afloat. Said he could pay back RP 1 million a month 😏 and wanted a $40k loan. To me, talk is free. Once the money changes hands, there'll be no guarantee you'll get any back.
Still, I patronized his outlet until he started trying to sell some green tea package to me. When I declined, I could see he wasn't too happy about it. I'd usually say "bye" just before I leave. That time around, he just ignored me. Not that it matters, as there are other massage outlets all over the island. I've stopped patronizing Madurani ever since.
