Actually,what the girl say may be true. Recently Gold Bird really did impose new charges to the girls,eg meals,transport during booking etc. But i dont think its gonna hit the 100k mark mentioned tho. I try booking girl from Gold Bird to room via the girl's hp number some time ago.(not counting the girl my fren book the day before) If the normal charge is 600k when i walk-in to joint,i only pay 500k via mobile phone booking. But at times,i still need to borne the cost of a 20k ojek charge when the girl was being send to my room.
And since last month Nov/Dec,all the girls booking fee appears to have increase from 600k to 700k,for the 600k range type (according to the girls). The 800k to 1 mil one remains same. And with the current CNY season,most joint going to increase their prices between 25% to 50% for all girls gradually....and Formosa is already fully booked at the point of my post. I can still book Formosa from agoda.com,but the charge is REALLY scary...lol...and its S$351.00 per deluxe room (exclude +10% service +11% tax). Harris Resort at over S$1k .(i am talking about cheapest room) Kaha price also up by a bit,but no room left.

Anyway,since you mention you miss out on the SYT during late hours,during this month and next month,my words on the timing MAY NOT be accurate during this season of the year...allow me to share a little occurrence in my recent trip's joint shopping.
On the 1st day in Batam,3 of us practically visited all the joints in Batam,each of us have bookmarked one girl each in mind in each joint before returning back to get her later. So 1st day was smooth sailing when we manage to book our girls we desired,but when one of the bro wishes to change girl the next following day,we visited our previously bookmarked girls between 1230pm to 130pm,those girls that the bro have previously bookmarked down the day before has already been booked by others. And believe me,its 4 popular joints we visited. So the bro nearly end up having no girl for the 2nd day until we made our last stop at Gold Bird and he found one.
So,in my opinion,the different season of each year in Batam can really mess up any regular one-size-fit-all advice. Thats the reason why i am always as careful as possible with my words at different time asked by different people and in most time,my post can get rather lengthy. "Under normal circumstances" meaning different season/different situation,the better/best timing to visit joint is usually between 12pm - 2pm on weekends and 1pm to 230pm(even 3pm) on weekdays. Most booking joints starts at 12pm tho.
Normal human will think that if i go early means i get the most girls to choose from or go there later than a certain time means i have less choices.Ironically this theory is not exactly accurate when it comes to Batam...lol. If the best timing is 130pm for joint A,but i didnt pick any girl from joint A and went over to visit joint B,the time is no longer 130pm when i reach joint B...not forgetting there's joint C,joint D etc etc to head to for more choices.
Even if i were to say 12pm - 2pm is the better/best time to visit a joint a joint during weekends,the actual worst timing in the 2 hour time frame is exactly 12pm. Cos thats the time when the girls gradually walks down from their dome to their seats to be pick by you. Now with that,it means choice becomes limited at the point and if i were to seat around too long for them to all comes down to their seats,i may just miss out the "Best Time" in other joints.
So the best i could do is plan my trip well enough to capture all the joints i wish to visit under the best time frame within the best living location,hehehe...

Bro,i will try to take note on whether she is wearing high heels. Some time not very nice for her to wear high heels to walk from point to point as it may be rather tiring.
