if for me...I will not want to buy the handbag as gift...you can say I am miser or anything...
My reasoning is simple...when give VB gifts the VB dun take it as cash or money simply is a gift...so whatever money you promised to give remains the same...VB will not ask you to deduct from the cash money you promised her or she will pay you back the money used to purchase...
the other thing is you feel heart pain when she used once or twice and she gives away to her sister or friends to use...you may not even know she sold the hangbag away...
another reason is the handbag sold in HCM is quite cheap...so why not buy there...some may say that those sold in Vietnam is not real thing...but so long you buy and give her she cannot refused...since cheaper and you know ladies like to have many and not one bag...^^
