I got a question here for seniors, hope someone can provide info. I was in BTM sometime back. this question is about roadside taxis. I went from harbour bay to Nagoya supermalls area. When i got up. i was told 40k to go there. then when entering.

the taxi driver say add 10k more cos of entering the gated car park to drop me off at the shopping mall. Is this for real? How to avoid such taxi drivers from chopping Singaporeans up?
