1st allow me to share my definition of half-bake information. Half baked information as i said earlier is at most time define as scattered/incomplete information in my point of view,it is largely known to me as information w/o structure to help others to understand what they are getting into and what to expect. Go read the last 20 pages and you still see people ALWAYS ending up there instead of Harbour Bay after this thread has been going around for nearly 8 years.

A newbie may ask,how much to spend on food in Batam. The answer usually is about 30k to 50k per meal,but he tends to forget the girl he book is human too,and needs to eat. And the girls they booked at most time RARELY finishes her meals. (that sometime makes newbie went off budget)

A newbie can ask about how to book a ticket from Horizon Ferry to go Batam,the answer can be just walk to the counter at Harbour Front 3rd floor to book a Return ticket. What purpose does quoting the whole post serve? I have never understood why people do it.

One thing to add : When one scroll thru the thread,your cursor is on the right hand side of the computer screen,the Quote Button is also at the right hand side,so very naturally,people tends to use the Quote Button rather than the Post Reply Button.It is especially not-so-good if one scrolled to the middle of the page of a thread where the Post Reply Button is even further away from the Quote Button. (boils down to being taking things for granted and a bit lazy tho)

Another way like what i do,is to expose it all.If everyone knows what amount to pay (other than for the lesser intelligent),the market will be stabilized and increase of pricing will slow off.But that has to depend what kind/type of customer base the place was being populated by and how the strategic timing is being applied. For Batam,it is mostly Sillyporean and Malaysians.If you take out Sillyporean and Malaysian,Batam will be near death. Simple strategy,right? But my trick cannot work on wetnam,indo-China or other Asian countries as their market base of customers are totally different than from Batam.
