gi, vi, di all sounds the same to me in southern dialect leh. I am sibeh confused.
1) gi "what" : zee (northern), yee (southern)
2) vi "because": vee (northern), yee (southern villagers)
3) di "aunt: zee (northern), yee (southern)
it is really my mistake or they really do sound alike, see all are "yee" in southern dialect.
Not to confuse "d" and "đ", [di "aunt" compared to đi "go"]. Cam on, for helping a confused tieng viet learner.
