Your friend kind of Seafood includes what? And must be "live" seafood anot. Coz IF want live seafood, the food courts only have live crabs, some fish. Want things like lobster or more kinds of fishes n prawns, sotong, must go to the kelongs liao. Nearest to town is Golden prawn and the other one besides it. Thou most say golden prawn is more expensive, which is true to some extend, they are nearer, saves time, and so far I tried they make better lobster salads, but u must tell n tell them dun over-cooked the lobster.
If your friend just want some crabs, <>< and dun demand them to be "live", just go to the Winsor food court, nearer to Harmoni, and somewhat "clean". I like the 1st stall, nearest to the stage n playground, but when the stage comes alive I sianz 1/2... lol. But I think you guys will not go so late.
That stall I suggest get their curry fish head, and curry wild boar meat. Then can steam some flower crabs or some chili crab. Want steam <>< also can lor, see what they have and ask the mei mei to recommend what is good and fresh to steam that day. Then few stalls away also have BBQ fish, or sotong. And you guys can eat other indo food also. I always aim fried tahu when in batam , everywhere also have, as long as they sell fired chicken, if encounter with good chili....song song gao jurong.
