I dont think this weekend will be crowded becos its still within the 1st 3 days of the Ramandan month. Very likely its gonna be way way lesser than expected girls. Most places will be close,even eating place. Some will still be open but will be camouflage by a big piece of cloth that covers the whole eating area so the people outside cannot see inside. Religious culture are usually at their strictest in the 1st 3 days of Ramadan. Some shops may still open in the later noon or evening for a bit.
If you really really need to go during the Ramandan month,i suggest go only after this weekend. Better chances. Better still if you could postpone till 3-4 days after 17th July 2015 which is after Hari Raya Puasa.

Nah,my 17th Trip is no match for the 16th one. In fact the reason why i took so long to write is becos half of me is trying to forget the 17th trip but the other half need to write the summary. Its a struggle between forgetting and remembering but i have to keep writing becos i made quite a bit of mistakes on the 17th trip. I need to have a record of my mistakes so in future i can cross reference it so as to minimise the chances of making similar mistakes again. Old already,memory failing me,so be it good or no good,must write them all down...lol.
Summaries are for my reference for a start (or can call it diaries). It also help newbies not to make my mistakes too. Just like your Tanjong Pinang stories you shared,to me EVERYONE knows these stories or somehow has heard them before in different version in one way or another from the other travelling threads of this forum. But many years later,will i be able to see similar stories again here? Hehehe...you bet i will. Smoking is bad for health,every smoker knows it,but they still smoke,hehehe... (actually smoking is totally bad for health isnt entirely true but still it does more harm than good)...lol.

Hehehe...if you read the FRs of some regular bros here or even my summaries,you might have notice whenever there is good trip,the next trip will almost surely be not as good.
I dont know why so,but as Batam is popularly known to be unpredictable,i feel that it might likely be that after an A trip if it happens to be very good,my expectation becomes high,so when i go for B trip the next month with that high or higher expectation and "other plans",the situation may turns out differently which is less than my expectation.Therefore comes the little disappointment. This situation is especially so for people like me who keeps changing different girls in almost every trip. It usually does not apply to bros who goes back for the same girl becos they already know what to expect of her and everything will be rather close to the previous.
And when i came back from that a "little disappointed" B trip becos i pick a different girl in each trip,my C trip on the following tends to turn out better than the B trip becos psychologically my hope and expectation has dropped quite a bit from the B trip experience. The C trip will then be better than the B trip. Well,it just go on and on for D trip and then the E trip and so on...lol. I called it a Curse in short,hehehe....
So whenever any bro heading to Batam for the 1st time with high expectation after reading my summaries and guides,the 1st advise from me is to ask them drop their expectation by half. If any newbie/s has a good 1st trip experience base on my guides/summaries,i would likely advise the same to help them avoid disappointment. And if it happens that their 1st trip is no good,i will ask them to try again for a 2nd trip,it usually will turns out good. But if the 1st and 2nd trip are both no good,then likely is that Batam may not be suitable for that bro. (tho he can still try a 3rd trip to confirm that theory)
Now? i am writing my 17th trip summary and looking forward to my 18th Batam trip about 1 month later,hehehe...18 is a lucky number you know? hehehe...
