Yes,the Peng Zhen wan tan mee is good, but Fei Fei "noodle" should be as good, except for their wan tan dumpling as there are big prawns in it (i am allergic to it). Fei Fei wan tan noodles is still far better than most other noodle shops in Sillypore that use machine-made noodles which will turn soggy after being left uneaten for about 20mins or so.

Have you seen it with your eyes? I havent...until then i will continue to have them, until proven not right of course. Reason,if you watch carefully every (almost every) chef in Batam (or sillypore) do their cooking, almost every food will become inedible. Like Mcdonald's unwashed ice cream container (for years) that holds the sundae and McFlurry that grows algae in it,as long as no one really peep into it,and as long as customers are being serve with a clean cup,who will really care to bother?
This is the internet world,bro...one man's view doesnt affect me easily unless proven. What i know is Mickey Mouse Bak Kut Teh soup is constantly being hold in a big pot and at boiling point (which is how they can cook up a double boiling bak chor mee soup taste). I dont see how bacteria or any germs that can cause diarrhea can even grow in it.i hear in this thread quite sometime ago someone says they (Mickey Mouse) pour back undrunk soup back to the pot,so in my trips to Batam,i have been watching them whenever i am there to eat...and i have not been able to spot mickey mouse on the act yet,hehehe.... Maybe someone warned them against it? i dont know...but i have been prowling to catch them on camera for a while since then. So far no luck.
(its not my habit to recommend, but they are afterall one of the best Bak Kut Teh i tried in Batam)
Mickey Mouse Bak Kut Teh is afterall so close by to Formosa Hotel,a place i stayed in most of the time while in Batam.
