There are more than 100 hotels in HCMC. If 1 district all hotels are full, hop into a taxi n look for another in another district. Hotel is not a issue when touring, money is an issue.
Even in D1, infests by tourists, I always see ang mo backpacker, walking around asking for hotel rates. Ang mo can survive in Asia, I do not see why Asian can't survive in Asia. Sometimes, I admire angmo... they are more adventurous than us.
