sharing my 1st solo trip to HCM
Stay at Thai binh hotels hong vina.. Should be girl friendly as can bring friend back hotel and just need to let them keep the ID. Walk to Ben than market to exchange money.. As 1st time change there walk around 15mins only found the shop.. The exchange rate given somehow same as the money exchange apps I'm using.. Have a late lunch inside the market ..
While having milk tea at phuc long cafe opposite Ben tanh.. Search for special massage and found lausung post regarding massage at Nguyen phi khanh.. That stretch saw a few shops just random go inside one shop and serve by a girl name yen pronounce as Ying .. Work in SG before but go back after 10days working .. Hardly speak English .. Massage 200k tips 300k... According to her vn guy tips 400k ..
Back hotel watch murray vs federer while waiting for friend off work at 11pm.. Went to Bien duong restaurant at Nguyen tri phuong Q5 for supper .. Cheap and good foods .. Vn have weird taste they eat fries with sugar and butter :/ beer cheap too.. Order 4 dishes and 8 bottles beer bill around 250k..
Next day friend wanna go salon travel all the way to Q3 have coffee while waiting for friend 12.000 got nice coffee and iced water yellowish color not sure what drinks is that.. But it's cheap outside Q1.. Lunch at pho phu-vuong at le van sy street.. Taste nice and the soup is sweet ..
After that went to coffee at bitexco tower.. 52nd floor each cup coffee at 180.000 bring friend go as never been there.. Not a bad place to relax with a view .. Dinner at co ba vung tau at Q3 throughly enjoy the banh khot dinner .. Proceed to chill skybar after that.. Pay 300k for entry tickets which can change to cocktails/beers.. A nice party place if go with right party .. Too bad friend don't enjoy it so go off within 1hr.. This place abit hot though due to open concept ... A lot "yen hua" set off here by those opening bottle ..
Next morning fly back to SG.. End of 1st solo trip..
