Over the years I'd been using this thread and often I still able to find the information I need. I would just use search to find. If you are a newbie maybe you won't know what to search, that's where the DIY guides comes in. The DIY guide made by the seniors back in 2008, most are still valid.
Anyway the key words I normally use is cafe, salon, massage, beer. Normally will get some updated info I need. Been doing this almost every year since 2009.
To be fair Benny and NPK had been around for a long time, I recall even thread 1 had this sharing. The price never get spoil too much cause most kept to the price shared in forums. Or maybe cause they are in the alley most newbie too KS to dare go in. lol
I remembered my 1st visit to NPK in 2010 was due to giving the taxi wrong Ben Ny address and got dropped at the restaurant lol It happened to many, maybe that's a contributing factor too. Armed with a print out map, walked alone from there to NPK in the evening. It can be a bit intimidating.

If I recalled correctly I wrote a FR for this along with Vien Dong and Liberty 4.
This is a forum, like any other having people chatting in thread shouldn't be an issue. If anyone really annoyed by it and really want to help newbie can do up an updated guide.
Upping and zapping is part making SBF unique. I always see members working hard gathering points, exchanging points and enjoying themselves in the process. Or there are some who likes play villain and zapped whoever they like in the shadow. IMO good for them, they are enjoying SBF to the fullest. If you see beyond the points system, points really mean nothing unless you get moderated. How senior you are, in the end we are all the same, just trying to have some fun. If you really can't see beyond the point system then just go do something about it.
I started from HCMC thread, so I'm a strong believer not to spoil market. Not that can't pay, but I don't think I need to impress a working lady by paying her more, then spoiling the market for other bros after me. Extra bit of tip if they are good.
If you don't even know what the market rate is, then you are just too lazy. There are lots of places in D1 willing to have customers who wished to pay more. So don't blame those who more frequent in HCMC not sharing with you their favorite spots.
So my sharing for today is this website
http://www.foody.vn/
There are reviews (in viet), opening hours, estimated price range, and even map of the locations. They also have the apps for it.
I'm looking forward to my trip this weekend
