I would put it this way,Batam has a lot of good food that retain its good taste from 20-30 years ago (or further). When it comes to good tasting food,Malaysia and Indonesia definitely beats Sillypore hands down. Sillypore only wins base on variety but most of the original taste were long gone.

The S$48 ferry is like an entrance ticket to enter “Batam Disney Land”. How i wish "entrance fee" can be cheaper. Accomodation wise may varies from different hotels.
