Yea,thats what you missed out. This temple even if you join a tour guided package also they wont bring you there. You also miss out some shopping too.
At least you rarely get to see or know of this Tua Pek Kong temple in any other websites. The fact is Batam has a handful of good temples,mostly in very remote area where the "birds dont grow their egg",hehehe...there is also a relatively majestic Indian temple that has a pretty renown Nyonya restaurant too,hehehe...
Chicken Rice everywhere in Batam also have,but those with yellow colour ginger rice would not be so many.

Formosa Hotel now has lots of new staffs at the reception counter,they even employ 1 or 2 new bellboys too. And they arent as friendly as i expected. (i think i have high expectation on them...lol)

Have a lower expectation,be humble,dont show off you that can spend type or talk loudly like a boss but signal to them you are a tipper (you can tip receptionist/bellboy or others in her presence once/twice,10k/20k will do) ,be friendly,act ignorant but dont be stupid and you might be in for a surprise.
