Another thing to remember in China, try not to be a "kaypoh" ..... mind your own biz.

Once a group of us were walking home after dinner, a friend of mine spotted a pick pocket and alerted the victim. The attempt failed, of course.

But the pick pocket followed the group of us and wanted to threatened my friend. And mind you, there were 5 of us and the pick pocket was a pregnant lady (real or not not sure). I am sure she had friends around and if there was really an incident all of them would have come out of the back alleys to help her.

This happened in broard daylight, on a super busy street in Guangzhou!
