question: does the "alo" mean something like "say hello"? in other words, when you get to the room, contact her / say hello.
you say "ak" is just an expression, but meaning what (if it means something) or what is its function? I notice some girls will say "ha" at end of a question, meaning basically "huh"? (or at least that's what I think it means)
Rachgu, yes I think you are right, for guys who have lots of cash to spend and no time to venture beyond the vicinity of their D1 hotel, these website girls don't make that much sense. Then again some guys who fit that profile have done that and reported satisfaction to me via PM. So I'm not sure. (also remember, not everyone here fits that profile, there are expats posting here, or guys who are working here for extended period, and so on) Some people like the challenge of dealing with the Vietnamese language and/or the fact this is meant for VN only, and overcoming that obstacle, or venturing into that foreign territory. Adventure. Sense of accomplishment. Confidence building. Fun. (for some) It's like some people enjoy eating at restaurants in their hotel or nearby, ones that cater to tourists. Others like to venture out and find the cheap street food where the real locals eat. It's a matter of taste.
The websites are just one option. If others discuss other options here, such as McLovin just did with his recent KTV roundup, then anyone who comes here can choose what's suitable for them.
