Recently heard from a singer this story, don't know how true it is, submit for bros' comments:

This singer has a big supporter, who went often to hang big flowers on her for quite some time. but it later transpired that this big spender didn't really want to foot the bill, and because he had been a long-time customer of the joint and had indeed spent a lot, the boss didn't want to pressure him to cough up the flower-money he had already committed. In the end, it's the singer who ended up empty-handed. Not only the big-flower money was just false promise, she also paid an opportunity cost, as other customer thought she had been "bao"-ed by the guy, and didn't bother to hang her anything.

Quite a sad story, if true. Anyone heard this kind of thing before?
