All right, was at Bangkok, and flew solo from the 29th to 1st January. I can safely say that going solo is NOT a problem, though it depends on what you like. All timings will be in Bangkok time. All activities here will only involve what our small head is interested in. I won't give much details, since what I like is rather normal, but feel free to ask in this thread and I'll reply when I can.
First day, 29th December: Went to Nana Entertainment Plaza at around 7 PM, but there's not much activities going on, I suppose I went too early. So people watching while enjoying some Singha went on, and the ladyboy radar is really confused by the time I left. Changed tactics, went back to my hotel and popped by Soi Cowboy. Now the timing's late at around 9 PM, so there's a fair bit of a crowd. Remembered some bros here mentioning Baccara, so went inside, got another Singha, enjoyed looking at the dancers. There comes a point where you'll see "everything", and surprisingly one girl approached me after I changed seats. Negotiations went, in line with the rates mentioned here. No carrot chopping occurred, left with her. I considered this a successful day.
Second day, 30th December: Club Mitu was decided by myself, so made my way there in the late afternoon for my "No hand massage". Good timing, but had to wait for my choice (Senny) for around 30 minutes. I didn't make any appointments, as the pictures all did not show their faces, but they will show the actual faces on the iPads they have. The rooms were bigger than some budget hotel rooms, the attitude was great from both Senny and the 2 Japanese guys at the counter. Drinks were provided, and ice cream when you're done.
This is one interesting place, you do get what you paid for.
Third day, 31st December: Last night, so after knowing how Soi Cowboy was like on my first night, made a repeat visit, this time at the one where they filmed Hangover 2. Tilac Bar is somewhat "nicer" in a sense, the ladies were much better lookers in my own opinion. This time, I made my choice fast, the "waitress" if you can call it helped me get a good seat, spent 2 ladies drinks for the dancer I picked. Needless to say, you get what you pay for, negotiations went well, terms agreed, and she agreed on LT. The bar itself had some lucky draw for the dancers, and she did win a gold necklace so her mood was really good for the whole night. The transition to 2016 was a good one.
Conclusion to all the bros: Just go with a open mind but stay sharp so you're safe, don't get conned.
