Poignant scenes in HCMC back packers' district

You should see an older bar girl, wearing her hot short skirt, pushing a baby carriage on bar street in the back packers district, on her way to work in the afternoon. Besides drinking, flirting and fucking old men, she must have a family life too.

5 AM Bui Vien and its alleys still have lots of people walking or hanging out, mobile vendors cruising. Bars are still blaring rock music. Groups of locals sit on small plastic stools on dusty, trash-strewn sidewalks, eating and drinking, discussing important issues.

By 6 AM the last shift of young girls started to pick up their motorcycles on the sidewalks to head home, flirting with the bike keepers. Most order food to go from street vendors. A drunken young girl was trying to sit down on a tiny plastic stool waiting for her food. She fell over it, crashing into the piles of pots and pan and dirty bowls, collapsing the table, sending eating utensils crashing to the dirt. But at night near the main down town walking street and the new shopping mall at the tallest Bitexco building, there were many couples with older Western guys walking hand in hand with some of the sweetest-looking young girls I have ever seen in Asia. It would be so nice to sleep with, embrace and make love to those sweet young girls all night. This situation deserves serious investigation.
