Yeah there is this human tendency to try to assign blame to one party only, even in the case of accidents when no person is really to blame. Whose fault, as if the answer must be exclusively one or exclusively the other. It's rare that it's that simple, and usually it's the case that there's quite a few factors that led to what happened, with plenty of 'blame' to go round. I haven't seen an article taht gives enough detail to know what the Singaporeans did to escalate things, all I got was that they bumped into these guys on a dancefloor, nothing about how they behaved other than that. Still, I think it's safe to say that the Singaporeans would not be the ones who were
more to blame. After all we do know they didn't draw weapons. If there's no deadly threat, then knives don't belong in the fight, end of story. I didn't see anything about a bottle being smashed, but maybe I got the article with no key details included.
