I visited once during long weekend n the entire experience was sucks to the max.
I swore to steer clear batam during long weekend n school holidays.
Also need to contercheck Indonesia n Msia holidays too.

Thanks for update on L hotel.
Refurbished hotel arent my thing n I prefer to stay in complete new build hotel, if possible.
At least infrastructure n stuffs are new.
That said, older hotels who renovate at appropriate times also worth a stay.
