A lot of hotels in Batam has a LAN port in the room,but most of it isnt functional. Even 90% of Formosa Hotel rooms Lan Port on the wall didnt work too. And even when it does,its not so well,hence i often have to talk to the network staffs there. I am looking for a business center-like hotel that has a Lan connection tho.

Yea,i forget about this hotel and thank you for reminding...its a fairly good old hotel that has almost everything under one roof. Got massage parlor and lounge too,hehehe...not forgetting a swimming pool and ...their rooms has a bath tub.

So Amir isnt the cheapest...i guess most older hotels were fighting among themselves for guests base on lowering their price point. Good for most Batam visitors i guess,hehehe...

City Central was quite a disappointment over a period of time. They start off quite alrightl in the beginning,but nowaday most complains were their rooms having some insects (crawling and flying around),toilet and room have got thick fungal smell,air-con not functioning properly (it auto turn off after few hours) and hotel staffs service not-so-flexible etc etc.. they even double their room price during CNY 2016 too,hehehe...at least thats what i read.

I have seen in Harbour Bay custom that the custom officers shouted across the queue to ask people waiting in line to shut up few times...however, no one was deported back to Sillypore from there. Most likely it is becos Batam Center got more ferry companies dropping passengers at their terminal hence even if everyone there were to whisper,the volume can add up to quite a substantial amount of noise in the earsss of the custom officersss.

Batam Center custom officers seems to be more stressed up (given the fact the volume of ferry passengers they need to handle were much more) when i make those comparison,hehehe...

Go,have a look at "her" in your next trip to Batam and you will better understand what i am saying here,hehehe...

Hi bro,good information you just shared but the price you stated not right. You might wish to amend the wrong pricing by using the Edit button below the right hand side of your post. I mean the 80k part (which i believe it means 800k rupiah) to book a 13 seater mini van.
