My reasons for not having time are pretty good, trust me. I can't say more without giving over private details.
After this last one, I'm definitely done with the cafe girls. And in fact as it has been in decline, last 2 weeks, I've gone out to find things to take my mind off it. Hence the reports.
Yesterday a weird thing happened. I went on wechat (another thing I do to take my mind off) and spotted a girl I knew from a cafe a while back, one I very much had the hots for then but never did anything about, just talked in the cafe, enjoyed the eye candy and company. My wechat profile is totaly anonymous, use fake name and photo. Anyway, I messaged her and got a reply that indeed it is for "services" -- but now a dilemma. Maybe a dilemma. With Wechat you never know. Is it real or fake? So assuming the pics are real, what to do. I only know this girl from real life. So if I reply to this offer and meet at a hotel, anonymously, and she shows up at the door, well, that's gonna be WEIRD when she sees it's me. I mean, she'd freak out, almost surely. And that'd be a pretty sleazy underhanded way of doing it. But if I went to her cafe, well it's back to square one, "would you like to go out some time?" (UGH) "Hey you aren't by any chance a prostitute are you?" So these 2 options seem pretty bad.
But of course I still dunno if it's the real girl or not. So I decide to just go on wechat and get some talk going. There's definitely a 1.2mil offer on the table. I intersperse some key questions to check. She tells me wrong district where she lives. She tells me she has no motorbike (wrong again). And she tells me her name is Huong (strike 3!). (yes I realize even if it's really her, she might lie about these just to protect her privacy) (also the Engilsh is way too good -- strike 4) And I tell her I wanna meet the girl in the photo, is she sure that's really her. Yes she's sure. OK, because I think I meet that girl before. Long pause. Then she comes back with now she's busy with her BF and I can meet THIS GIRL (photo of other girl sent). Aha. OK so now it's looking like these are just borrowed photos being used, typical bait and switch. I pressed her on that, said look it's ok but I think that photo not really you, right? Then I said that girl has a motorbike, I know. I said I only want to meet girl in the photo, I don't want to meet other girl, can I meet that girl or can not? Then I get a reply You are Vietnamese. Don't bother me. (WTF!!!)
From that point on, my messages were blocked.
So I'm 99.99% sure it's just someone who grabbed my friend's photos. Or it could possibly be (doubt it) that it's really her and she freaked out about meeting someone who might already know her. Or maybe really did get paranoid about it being a cop or something? Nah, no way.
