with that miserable start-up sum of SGD1200; you expect to feed the family, pay for utitilites, insurances, bills, maintain the family car/pick-up, medical savings, some spares/savings for rainy days, offer alms when the monks visit, more spares in case there's some red/white matters to attend etc.

family planning concerns; you're planning for 1 child, then suddenly kena twins, there's routine gynea check-up, all that scans & treatments to pay for, then come labor day - there's complications and need to do a C-section, then baby(ies) under intensive care for some days, the mother stays a little longer in hospital for recovery etc. then bring the family home; everything initially planned for now (x2) - milkpowder, diapers, vacinations, pediatric check up etc..

and at the end of the day, dont forget both your parents & in-laws are also accountable for as part of your liabilities... without your parents & hers.. the 2 of you still swimming
