Joo Chiat is still very much alive, with majority Vietnamese ktv / pubs, and some prc ktv. But, at times, the quality/quantity of stocks can be limited due to overzealous ICA officers limiting Vietnamese banners entry to Singapore.

I have a room booked for tomorrow, took Monday, but am now in Sindo Ferry's last trip to Batam Centre. "Hanging out" referred to sitting around, doing some work on my phone, and people watching. Think I'll go have supper at Newton's food court since Formosa only have twin beds left.
