If it is like what you said, the accused would be quite easy to provide financial records and evidences in chats or whatever communication medium to back this claim since he has been providing the victim with money. Cannot be at this information age, there is ZERO trail leading to the accused unable to establish his defence on this matter. Unless the latter is damn stupid to transact all in cash.
