Post trip report: I hadn't got much feedback from my post and was all but convinced that using one of the agencies would guarantee an overpriced bait-and-switch so I tried a different approach. The first night I was hoping to pull something out of the bar of my high-end hotel but there was nary a bird in sight. The second night I didn't want to take any chances so I set out to find Ace Anma as it seemed like they were foreigner friendly. Considering how hard of a city Seoul can be for a white guy who speaks no Korean, the Ace experience was a breeze.

It was basically exactly like all the blogs and reviews said to a T, small elevator and all. I got charged a "new" price of 280k instead of the 230k i had read but considering the locals coming and going and that they were letting me in, I was fine with it. After bit of a wait got taken upstairs to a Korean gal with a 9 body and 7 face. It was a positive full body experience with only a minor hint of perfunctory performance. All in all, super satisfied and enjoyable. A shade expensive compared to other Asian countries esp as was noted a strict "one hour or one shot" policy but seemed like a more fitting spend than the 500-800k the agencies wanted. I would highly recommend this route as a non-juiced in officetel alternative.
