I also use hard cash all the time when overseas but I tend to think wider when it comes to others and the reasons why they prefer to use other means like credit cards instead of $$$$
Possible reasons are,
- new to that cuntry and do not want to crack their brains over how to pay with all those zeros behind, or worst still overpay and yet dunno.....
- worried about carrying too much cash may be either kena shoplifted or accidentally drop them.
- credit cards issued by company and so wants to maximise the usage.
- easier to fill-up claims when all is under credit card statement instead of individual receipts......and so on.......
