That is a big plus for me, and I believe for some others who read this.
Maybe we don't want to spoil the reputation of the DV hotel here (contrary to my opinion, for some others having full freedom on guests is not a good thing). PM is also welcomed.

Dear all, I never received an answer to my question in red above. Next time I go to Batam will be in December, and yes I will be with a friend who heard about Batam from me and cannot wait to see it personally.
I don't like to be a wingman, as having someone with me detracts me a lot of freedom, and also I feel responsible for taking him to the right place (but I don't know what is the right place for him! A booking joint or adventure in a club? shopping or hunting?)
However, I am sure he would be much more comfortable in a good hotel as Da Vienna rather than Formosa. For me, it is essential I have full freedom to do what I want and take whoever I want to my room, even 3 girls. Do you have any experience?
