GoFood is part of the GoJek app. One app for many services. GoPay too, part of GoJek app. You can view screenshot in the app page on play store and maybe appstore too.
I've never top up via credit before. Initially, I've used cash as I don't know how long this app will last. Then, subsequently, I top up by "buying" from the GoJek that took my booking. As you pay lesser with GoPay rather than cash, a lot pay by GoPay, which means most GoJek have some balance in their own GoPay account. Just pay them how much you want to top up and they can transfer to you..
I've not stayed in a lot hotels in Batam, and especially, those high-end ones. Most that I stay in, have no issue allowing GoJek to send food to my room. A couple hotels made call to my room confirming my order and GoJek is free to proceed to my room.
