long time lurker of this thread. created the account recently.

Been to batam thrice. Once with family once alone and once with friends. Had pretty interesting experiences each time. There was this KTV then my friends and I went to (cant remember the name but there were plenty of pool tables outside in the main hall) that we got ripped of pretty badly. Imagine paying sg prices for drinks and girls. Lesson learnt was that always ask the price first before agreeing to anything. Totally spoilt our night. Ended up going back to the club below our hotel No Name to pick up a girl. It was about 1am and we just wanted to f and sleep lol

When alone, I explored all the cewek joints but didn't choose any as I wanted to get an idea of the standard of the girls. Might choose one when I go over to batam this weekend. I understand you need to go before noon as all the SG guys will quickly book all the better looking ones...Anyone going at the same time?

Anyway thanks Mr Nono for your very detailed informative guide . If Lonely Planet ever needs a R rated guidebook to Batam, they should hire you LOL !
