ya,basic vigilant is a must wen person is ovrsea. With a lower population in btm as compare 2 sg & m'sia,i tink crime rates & accidents generally aso lesser 2.
sample :
100 ppl in sg island,10% crime equal 10 crimes.
20 ppl in btm island,20% crime equal onli 4 crimes.
Btm population is 1.16m
Sg is 5.4m
M'sia Johor is 3.49m

i got hear frm sm staffs in sm btm hotel i stayed in b4 tat mani tourist slip & fell & got injured,sm even died inside rm toilet. Last time, i aso nearly slip & fell inside sm hotel's toilet in btm b4 2....
