After having been to Batam for ten over times over the past few years, last week went for a 3D2N trip is my first time to Batam during Ramadan Period.
Some of the uncommon things noted include:

1) Restoran have less customer during fasting hours (after suhur but before iftar)
2) All eating outlet have curtain to cover probably to show respect to the religion. However those cewek who has menses (datang bulan), sick or take medication may not be required to fast
3) Massage centres generally have less customers resulted more choice of massage cewek to choose from.
4) Booking joints mostly front door all closed, some may have back door open at certain hours of the day.
5) Very minimum street food sold during the day.
6) Hotel accomodation has less occupancy
7) Less crowded in the mall
