The time i go to Batam were usually the time when most people comes back to Singapore,hehehe...and the time i return back to Singapore were usually when most people start going Batam,so it dont make a difference. On top of it,i usually loiter around places that hasnt got much tourist
Talk about hotels,it kind of pissed me off last week. Believe me, 1st time over the 4 odd years i traveled to Batam,i have that kind of feeling that i couldnt find a comfortable hotel of my liking that allows in-room SMOKING and yet has an electric kettle in it.
Otherwise i wouldnt have throw out those emails and now,tho i eventually find the right place to stay but still it has no electric kettle/coffee maker,hehehe... but for the electrical kettle or the coffee maker issue,i shall buy a new kettle to use in my room instead. After that just give it to my girl to bring back to her hometown.
