Taxi driver took us back to hotel and when we ask how much, he said up to us. He was waiting on us for about 5hrs, what we gave him was I think too much. Please don't Flame me. We gave 300000 as we thought abt $30 , OK la. Straight away we got his card. OK at least we know we have a guide next time round.

What you gave was decent ... considering he had to send you to a few locations and waited for you all along until you head back hotel. Time = Money ...Trip = Money. Generally Gocar / Grab in batam cannot pick up at hotels / terminals and Shopping Centers. So for that convenience you had for SGD30 is decent.
Per trip general taxi in batam charges between SGD5 to SGD10 ... fyi.
For the price of your cewek escort 1.2juta to 1.5juta is normal rate for joints generally throughout batam. The good old days where you can get 800ribu to 1juta has diminished.
