You are right on this one. At the same time, i try my best to avoid answering repeated questions unless there are a bit of changes over what i said before. I started off as a newbie, a noob in Batam, and standing from their shoe i was able to understand what they wish to know about a place they were going to venture on for the 1st time and if only they read whats on my signature, i believe a normal English literate person should be more or less be able to understand as i would often try my best to simplify what i said.
Internet is a great place to make friends. But in order for one to make friend with another, both party forming that friendship needs to have some basic mutual understanding of each other's characteristic 1st or just be a complete stranger getting to know one another for the 1st time (perhaps thats just me,hehehe..).
Example, the bros in this forum. i dare say 80% of them would probably knew some parts of my characteristic becos of my 40 summaries, the basic Batam travelling guides and those information i compiled and shared in the thread. But over my side, a stranger suddenly pop out of nowhere wishing to join me in my Batam trip/s. Switching shoes with any reading human beings here,most would probably hit the ignore button.
There can only be one circumstances that i may join another complete stranger to Batam. That is, if i have NEVER before shared the 40 summaries, the basic Batam travelling guides and those compiled information in this thread before. Meaning 2 complete strangers, not knowing one another could possibly go to Batam together. But it is not fair for one whom everyone knows to agree to go out with someone nobody knows.
Of course, there is a solution to this. That is i go create a NEW nick in the forum and then pretend to join the group or a solo person in the forum (if i could think of this,others could too,isnt it?). Then again, thats just not me anymore and to me, would be consider as tricking those "friendship" which i value.
(over time,you will notice people come and go in another nick in this forum)
You or any others in the forum can say i am just being skeptical,too sensitive blah blah blah and all that...but if you have been stalked in batam before and as well as in the forum, you will not think that way. To me, in a 3rd world country, every human life is cheap and fragile, including my own (yes,i use very strong words here, "EVERY human life is cheap and fragile"). i could buy up your life easily with a few thousand dollar as much as you could buy mine.
I go to Batam to enjoy myself and to look for my kind of fun, come to the forum to share my bits and then compile information i need for future trips. I dont want any trouble hence i am cutting back on group trips with people i dont know. (one way to know someone better is through sharing,right?)
Call me a coward or being skeptical all you (or whoever) want and i agreed with you, hehehe...but that would be becos i value my own life.
Ok, i am a bit exaggerating here...hehehe... and by the way, this post i replied is meant solely for you and not for others,hence i will only answer to you. And i meant no offence to anyone else reading it.
