Yes, their thinking is that Spore Passport = Sporean dollars. But often, this dream is not easy to come true. From the process of applying for PR, many Viet gals have already realised that its not easy. The difficulty increases 2 years later when they apply for Singapore Citizenship. Like i mentioned before, the way ICA Citizenship Centre officers treat Vietnamese spouses is not too nice. And to become citizens, ICA requirement from the singaporean husband is even tougher in the areas of financial capabilities. That's the reason just a handfull of vietnamese spouses become singapore citizens although quite a number of them got PR.
