To tip or not to tip? That is the question.

I leave a modest tip when I feel good service has been given, and this would be like 70-80% of the time. It is a small gesture of appreciation. My regulars give excellent service, or they wouldn't be my regulars. Hence, almost invariably I reward them. Those that I don't tip are also those I visit just once, and never again.

I don't buy gifts. But sometimes because of familiarity, a lady would request me to buy something specific. These are everyday items she happens to need but maybe has no time to purchase. I oblige, of cos, and do not expect her to pay me. Such requests are rare, and only come from my super regulars.
