Well really no right or wrong here cause most of the time it boils down to how risk-averse the individual is, as with most investment products there will be some high risks type tied to highly fluctuating parameters and those low-risk type with guaranteed capital and/or interests, cater to different group of individuals as we can't all be the same
Same as with fishing, some like to do lazy bottom (like me......

) while others may prefer higher energizing types like jigging & popping
