Since u like this kind of food, i don't knw if nono ever ask u try the Swees kari bao at the Swees Kopi Tiam beside Biz hotel.
...don't knw where's Swees Kopi Tiam nvm, Astro food court just beside a2 food court also got one of their branch. Their kari bao only cost 3k rp & taste like old chang kee.
Another good recommendation he brought me & our kakis to eat is Baba street food court.
It's just behind formosa hotel, opposite happy 8 bking joint. Few mins walk from happy 8.
Try the best tasting roti prata & martabak in btm done by this guy -
It is really good. I go for their prata in my nearly every btm trip (opens only at nite abt 5pm).
At the same Baba street food court, there's also western food. Just look at the price tag on the menu.
..& the serving they give which the taste of it won't lose to any western food serve in many hotel.
Not forgetting the satay shop nearby too. It's one of the best i tried in btm & more important, price quite cheap.
There are also a lot bbq sea food there to choose from.
But again, according to nono's recommendation nothing is all good, this place also serve btm's worst chicken rice,lol.
This Baba street food court's better food store were usually operating during evening, ard 5pm. Roti prata man tends to go for evening prayers at times with nobody in the shop, so need to bear with him a little.
My schedule as that in my last trip, breakfast at Eatern food court for their fish soup (opp BCS), lunch at Astro/a2 & dinner at Baba street (inside Nagoya Citywalk).
Go for the best! & btm's BEST don't really cost much.
