This movie's joker is more about his beginning, how the society and the environment around him made him what he is today. Thinking back, we all were a bit like him too or at least there's at least one "joker" who lives inside everyone of us, always looking forward to be set "free". It is our self control that holds "him" back. From another angle of view, i actually pity this version of "evil joker".
Like many internet users today, this "joker" in the movie is also looking for attention, just more desperately. He is looking for a place where he can belong to, but too bad he couldnt find it at the end of the movie and all hell breaks loose when the "joker" inside him were released in real life. Eventually killed the woman he so love, killed his birth mother, his imaginary dad and even his idol too.
A lunatic called Joker is born w/o strings attached.
