generally, women indeed has a lower sex drive than men but its only 20% lower on average.... on ave, every 1 week of a mth is taken up by menses for women which will cause a drastic drop in sex hormones within women, if u take out the observation data which coincides during a women menses, the gap is veri much smaller....thus it is reasonable to conclude to women n men has,on average, similar sexual hormonal levels......

the reason y we tend to c men as the more aggressive partner in acquiring sex is becoz of societal norms....society dictates that men r more masculine by proclaiming that they r high sexed animals while women r deemed to b more feminine by sudjugating their sexual desires.....but as society evolves, women r given more leeway to express their sexual needs nwdays n is less confined by the sexual norms of yesteryears, thus ppl find today's young gals more sexually charged than their predecessors....

the truth is, the physiology of women didnt change but their psychology has changed......my 2cents worth...
