Went to another LS club in Seoul called 0ja. It's pronounced "yong ja." Yong is the number zero in Korean. It's not the letter O.
The club is in Hongdae and pretty close to the subway station. This LS club is WAY better than Desire and we had a great time. I went with a friend who is fluent in Korea but it didnt matter. The owner's English is spot on and he is a super cool guy. In order to enter the club, you have to be vetted as a member. This meant that we had to go in for an interview to meet the owner personally.
We arrived in the afternoon before the club opened and it was about 20 minutes of some pretty standard questions. He asked about our experience in the LS scene, our sexual orientation and what we are into and not into. He also does not bullshit and he straight up asked about our bodies and sexual experiences/fantasies. This is because in this club, no one is allowed to approach another couple. Everything is brokered through him so there are no uncomfortable advances. I'll get into this more later. He then gave us the run down of the club rules such as absolutely no cellular phones, bags or purses or even wallets. All your personal belongings must be stored in provided lockers. You can bring toys and condoms to your booth but the bartender must give them a quick inspection. Also, any pointing, laughing or criticizing of anyone is absolutely not tolerated. The space is meant to be a place where people of all ages, sizes and shapes come to have fun and there is a zero tolerance for any kind of open judgement. Also, any talk of job, wealth or social standing is heavily frowned upon. The owner wants his club to be about safe sexual exploration and expression. In his own words, "minus the car, fancy clothes and jewelry, we are all beautiful dicks and pussies." Again, super cool guy.
The last thing we had to do was give a code name for us. He does not ever want to know your real names. This code name is stored in their membership database for future reservations. Again, privacy is key here.
After the interview we left to eat dinner and came back at around 9pm and showered in their facility, which was small but very clean. We expected it to be empty but when we arrived there was a lot of moaning to be heard and there were already several couples fucking. The club is mainly two halves separated by the bar in the middle. On one half, singles can sit and watch but never cross into the couple's half. The couples area has about 6 open booths were you can see all the other couples. In the two corners of the couples area, are large padded mat areas where couples can fuck next to other couples. Fucking in the padded area means that you dont mind if other couples fuck next to you but again, no touching without permission.
We sat down at our booth and enjoyed watching the other couples bang away. The owner walks around chit chatting with the couples and if you are interested in a swing all you have to do is ask the owner. He will act as a middle man. This is why the interview was important. If you told him that you're into something, he knows the couples that are down with it too. If the other couple is willing to chit chat you can join them at their booth. After that, the owner disappears to let you make your own magic. If a couple is interested in picking up a single, they can. All the have to do is ask the owner and he will escort the single you choose to your booth. Depending on the night, there are single men, women and transgenders.
Because this place is big on privacy I do not want to write about what exactly happened but let's just say we didnt leave till 4am and were very tired but also very happy. There is no official closing time. We went on a Saturday (before the coronavirus hit) but the best night is supposed to be Friday.
Damage was 280,000 and it included a fruit platter, a bottle of wine, beer and unlimited soda and Red Bull (we needed the Red Bull).
I highly recommend 0ja if you're into the LS scene.
