Bro, some will pay higher price for convenient, others who do not mind the inconvenience can save a bit here and there. Every person's tolerance rate is different, hehehe....
I don't use Grab nor Gojek apps, i use the hotel feeder service instead, hehehe...but the inconvenient part is i have to abide to the hotel's driver's timing. But today i build such a relationship with everyone in the hotel that i do have to abide to their timing all the time anymore.
The inconvenient part of grab and other online taxi service is that one has to walk about 10 mins or so away to get one. Not factoring in the waiting time yet. (my friend/s with me uses Maxim app, instead of Grab/Gojek app, claims to be cheapest)
The inconvenient part of using Gojek aka motorbike taxi is one has to use a mostly dirty shared helmet to commute.
The inconvenient part of using Hotel's f.o.c feeder service is i have to abide to their fixed timing but even when i have already beat that part, there are still issue. Hotel drivers usually off duty at 6pm to 7pm. After which, no more transportation for me.
To date, i am still looking at my most convenient way to commute in Batam whichever best suits me.

Want more than 12 hours also can, but need to fork out lunch/dinner and maybe others (eg, shopping?

).

Many may not like to go through the hassle (not-so-suitable for bros on a 2D1N or even 3D2N trip & not for newbie too).
My target were the clean MPs, hehehe...
The most suitable for oneself is often the best.

Agreed with this part.
