ya rite, and also high costs not necessarily will bring us good service / quality products .. for eg. the hotel in Balai only cost S$26.00 but it provides very good taste breakfast -- soft boiled eggs / nasi lemak / porridge ... yummy
as contrast, Batam usually caters International buffet .. you see the fried-until-like-don't-know what chicken kock-tail sausages ... see already no mood to eat
