Regarding this " Walk of Shame ", " Elevator of Shame " and " Dining with Shame " thingy.....I think its all in the mind la. The hotel staff (even those 5 stars one) are not thinking anything negative, they are jus checking out the ladies you brought back & wondering how much you pay etc etc. Its Thai culture la.....WLs everywhere they work in hotel see until sian liao, some even can ON one where they bother to 'look down' on you? As for fellow hotel guests, those guys with family & ugly wives were probably jus envious & jealous of your 'good fortune'.
If you still feel uneasy then stay in a 'cheongster' hotel lor.
