I'm sure more learned bros, like bro Jason, can offer a more comprehensive, accurate explanation. But what I know is it depends on the case. Some cases require deeper investigations, and court appearances so white cards are issued to the caught ML/FL to remain in Singapore.
Some cases don't require much from the ML/FL, besides a few statements. These girls are asked to leave the country as soon as 2/3 days! In the case of Xi Mi, about 2 weeks.
Anna was caught when she worked in a Thomson Road spa about 2 years ago!! She has been white carded since then and can't leave without the authoritie's say so. When she can leave remain uncertain.
