Basically Thailand is broke due to the pandemic.

555 now Pattaya has attracted many long stay Tiongs but willing to spend.
The recent addition are the uncouth tourists from India.
Some how they have more spending power now.

They have to budget wisely as their pensions are only a modest sum.
