Com Tam = "Broken Rice"
Com Tam is to Nguoi Viet what Chicken Rice is to Singaporean.
It's the basic staple, standard config comes with grilled pork chop, fried egg, some lettuce/cucumber/carrots and some sauce that is spicy-sour.
So far, the Com Tam in Singapore... haven't had a nice one. From the $4.50 ones to the $15 plates BX and I have tried.... they're pretty terrible.
